Mercer
Mercer is a widely adapted green-to-red bell pepper well suited for the North Eastern U.S. growing regions. The maturity is mid-early, with high yields of extra-large fruit with good quality. Plants are vigorous, sturdy, have good cover and have high yield potential. The fruit are firm, dark green and mature to a very attractive deep red color.

Cut or break pepper off the plant but leave at least 1” of the stem attached to the pepper.
- Storage

Clean and wax peppers. Pre-cool at 45ºF. Store at 45 - 50ºF with 90 - 95% humidity; this will ensure the longest shelf life.
