A snap pea with unusually thick pod walls on a 30" vine. Pods remain tender and sweet longer than other cultivars. Flavor improves until seeds are over mature. Cascadia has outstanding disease tolerance, eating quality and yielding ability.

Harvest

Harvest peas when ripe. In shelling peas, pods should be filled out and able to feel individual peas. Pea pods should be harvested before seed develops inside the pod.

Storage

After harvest store peas at 50 - 60ºF with 95% humidity to ensure quality.
